Mine Finder Controls

Mine Finder supports touch, mouse, and keyboard. Use the controls below to play faster and avoid mis-taps.

Touch Gestures

  • Tap a tile to reveal it.
  • Long-press to place a marker.
  • Double-tap a revealed number to chord its neighbors.
  • Drag to pan, pinch to zoom when the board is larger than the viewport.

Mouse Controls

  • Left click to reveal a tile.
  • Right click to place a marker.
  • Scroll to zoom and drag to pan when the board is zoomable.

Keyboard Shortcuts

  • Press Space on a revealed number to chord.
  • Use Tab and Shift+Tab to move focus between tiles.
  • Press Escape to close dialogs and help.

Menu Buttons

  • New Game opens presets and custom size options.
  • Tap: Reveal / Tap: Flag switches what taps do.
  • Chord arms a one-shot chord on a revealed number.
  • Settings toggles Safety Shield (Phone Mode) and ? markers.
